In my opinion, the best snorkel spot is the Ang Thong Islands, which was the only snorkel spot that I completed when visiting. The backdrop of islands was stunning, and I snorkelled at one location which was busy with tourists.
Yes, you can swim with turtles around Koh Samui. While the island itself isn’t known for a specific turtle sanctuary, there are a few places where you can have close encounters with sea turtles, especially if you’re into snorkeling or diving.
