A great action packed activity to do whilst visiting Corralejo is Dune Buggy off-roading! Start off in the town, and set off to the dunes outside the town, drive through the volcanic area of Valverde-Parque natural malpaís, and stop off for a view of the mountains at La Piconera with the options for action photographs. Finally drive back to the town. There was a photographer who was stopping off taking action photos of us during the trip and you have the option to buy 30x pics, which cost about €30.00.

Will and I swapped over twice so we both got a chance to race through the dirt tracks. The buggy’s actually went faster than I expected, and were pretty powerful. The terrain was mixed from tarmac, sandy dirt, and volcanic rocks. You will need a balaclava which you could buy in the town, or at the starting point, as the dirt really kicks dust up into the air. You will get covered in dust, especially if you’re not first in the line!
Top Tip:
Make sure you get a balaclava to wear and cover your mouth, and sun glasses to protect your eyes. The dust kicks up into the air and will cover you. Keep a bit of distance to the car in front of you, as the dust can be block visibility!
