Description

Salema Porgy, also known as gold lined sea bream is a fish found in the Mediterranean Ocean and Eastern Atlantic Ocean. Often found in coastal waters, rocky and sandy bottoms, feeding on crustaceans and small fish. It is a relatively small fish, growing to approximately 40cm in length. The fish is toxic when eaten and can give hallucinogenic effects.

Habitat

Salema Porgy live off the Eastern Atlantic ocean and Mediterranean ocean. This fish is often found in coastal waters, in rocky or sandy bottoms.
